  • Mother Goose Pantomime. Thursday 20th December.

    A theatre group will be visiting the Academy on the morning of Thursday 20th December, to perform for the children. The cost of this will be covered by our Curriculum Enhancement Budget, which you have generously donated to through our fund raising events. Every child will be provided with an ice cream during the morning. It promises to be a brilliant experience for the children and something that they will really enjoy!

  • Christmas Jumper Day - Friday 14 December

    We are supporting Christmas Jumper Day so children will be able to wear their Christmas jumper with their school uniform, instead of their school jumper, and donate to Save the Children. The suggested donation is £1 per child please.

  • Anti Bullying Awareness Week. Monday 12 - Friday 16 November 2018

    The national Anti-Bullying Awareness Week begins on Monday 12th November. We will begin our week with an assembly to raise awareness of the effects of bullying. To mark the start of the week, we would like every child to wear something blue with their school uniform, for example blue socks, a blue hair clip. Thank you for your support.

  • The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal

    This year we will be supporting the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. We will be selling poppies in school from Tuesday 6th November to Friday 9th November and we are asking for donations please. We are also selling a number of other ‘poppy’ items, including pencils, rulers, wrist bands etc. from Monday 22nd October. These items are priced between 50p and £1 and will be on sale before and after school and at break time.

  • Harvest Festival Thursday 18 October

    On Thursday 18th October we will be learning about the Harvest Festival and Oak class will be delivering an assembly to the school.

    We would really appreciate it if the children from all classes could contribute and bring a tin of food to school that day if they can. All food collected will be donated to a local Trussell Trust food bank.
